Switching to Boost Mobile from another carrier?

Before you port your number and activate your new Boost Mobile service, you'll need to consider the following:

• Your details will need to be shared between the two carriers to allow porting to take place.
• You must be the authorised owner of the service to be able to port the phone number.
• You have to finalise any contract costs or obligations you may have with your previous carrier.
  
• If you're using your old handset, make sure that have you had any SIM lock security removed from it.
