Before you port your number and activate your new Boost service, you'll need to consider the following:

• Your details will need to be shared between the two carriers to allow porting to take place.
• You must be the authorised owner of the service to be able to port the phone number.
• You have to finalise any contract costs or obligations you may have with your previous carrier.
• If you're using your old handset, make sure that have you had any SIM lock security removed from it.

Check that your mobile's battery is charged. Snap off your new SIM Card and insert it into your mobile. Remove your old SIM Card if you're using an existing handset from another carrier.

Make sure you have the following information at hand:

FOR INDIVIDUAL USERS:

• Full name
• Street address
• Date of birth
• The mobile phone number you wish to port (transfer) from another carrier.
• Contact number
• Email address
• Your account number from your previous carrier
• IMPORTANT: You must be the authorised owner of the service to be able to port the phone number.

• ABN
• Name of person acting for business
• Position in business
• Contact number
• Business name
• Street address (not a PO Box)
• Email address
• The mobile phone number you wish to port (transfer) from another carrier
